As we prepare for our event – The Power of Truth, we want to highlight those that make a difference, introducing Thaddus Jackson.
Thad Jackson is a Principal emeritus from the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and served the children and communities of LAUSD for 37 years with distinction and honor. He has been recognized and awarded by both the district and outside organizations for providing outside resources to his schools, which include funding for school trips, providing food and clothing for underserved families, and many more!
Since his retirement from LAUSD, Thad has embarked in event photography, serving as the primary photographer for the California Conference for Equality and Justice, the Andy Street Association, and the NAACP of Long Beach.
Thaddus Jackson had also worked with social service organizations and human rights groups in his early years, as well as political campaigns. He served 25 years as president for Community Education Development and Referral Services (CEDARS) and was a founding member of Drew League Foundation.
