Today, we spotlight Michelle Dobson for being an active community leader for the city of Long Beach. Beginning her career as a Criminal Defense Attorney with the Orange County Public Defenders’ Office, Attorney Dobson joined a boutique corporate law firm defending physicians, acute hospitals, nursing homes and facilities, and staff before starting her own law firm in 2006. Since then, she has represented multiple Long Beach and Seal Beach businesses including restaurants, bars, breweries and a host of non-profit organizations in the City of Long Beach.
Additionally, Michelle Dobson volunteers on boards for the City of Long Beach such as the Metro Board of the YMCA, Long Beach Community Foundation Board and many more!

After beginning her career as a Criminal Defense Attorney with the Orange County Public Defenders’ Office, Attorney Dobson joined a boutique corporate law firm defending Physicians, Acute Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Their Staffs before starting her own law firm in 2006. Since 2006, as a solo practitioner, Attorney Dobson represents multiple Long Beach and Seal Beach businesses including Restaurants, Bars and Breweries and represents a host of non-profit organizations in the City of Long Beach. Attorney Dobson volunteers on the Metro Board of the YMCA of Greater Long Beach, the Long Beach Community Foundation Board, the CSULB President’s Board of Community Engagement, the Tichenor Clinic Board of Directors and the Long Beach City College Foundation Board of Trustees. Ms. Dobson is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., is a native of the Westside of the Great City of Long Beach and the proud mother of two children.
