As we enter #BlackHistoryMonth, we want to spotlight current leaders making a change, today. Introducing Ivy Arlinda Goolsby.
Born and raised in Long Beach, CA, Ivy has always had great pride and passion for her city and community. With years of professional career experience and entrepreneurial spirit, she has become a respected leader who is dedicated and committed to providing the highest quality of service, while displaying honesty and integrity. Ivy continues to serve on numerous boards and committees, and continues to give back to her community through #CommunityService efforts.
During her tenure as President of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce “Women’s Business Council,” one of her many accomplishments was establishing a fund and awarding grants for “Women Transitioning from Shelter to Workforce.” She has also awarded more scholarships to students from LBCC and CSULB that year, the most in the history of the organization.
As a recipient of numerous awards and recognition for her work and service to her community, it is no wonder why Ivy has been, and continues to be, a great example of leadership and asset to the community. Thank you for all you have done!
